From localhost to production
A product that cannot deploy is a prototype. The path to a URL should be a habit: checks, artifacts, migrations, eyes.

The ceremony of 'launch week' is usually a sign that deploy was never a pipeline. Production credentials in a chat log, migrations run by a hero, DNS as folklore. None of this is a personality. It is an unfinished product.
A minimum adult path
Git is the source of truth. CI typechecks, tests the rules that matter, builds an artifact, and deploys to a preview on every change. Staging runs the same migrations. Production is a gated promotion with a rollback you have practiced.
Kubernetes is not a virtue
Match runtime to traffic. A brochure and an API can live on a managed platform plus a worker. A fleet of ingest workers might want a cluster. The diagram comes before the account signup.
If nobody is watching, it is not production
Logs, uptime, errors, backups with a restore drill. An alert allowed to be loud. Launch is the moment you start learning, not the moment you stop looking.
