We design, engineer, and deploy digital systems: AI automations, websites and web applications, UI/UX, backend APIs, and production infrastructure. One team can take a product from an idea to a URL that is monitored.
Defined product slices, rebuilds, internal tools, marketing sites that are actually software, automation programs, and retainers after launch. We are selective about scope we cannot stand behind.
Yes. Early teams are often the right shape: a real problem, a finite budget, and a need to ship. We will still argue against a platform when a focused slice will do.
Yes. The work is often integration, operator tools, and replacing a process that grew in email. We work through the people who own the system of record.
Yes. Collaboration is remote-first. Time zones are a planning input, not a surprise. Legal entities and contracting details are settled in writing before work starts.
The studies on this site are representative studio pieces with working titles, unless a page explicitly names a consented client. Metrics and quotes are placeholders until replaced with permission. We would rather be precise than impressive.
We operate as a remote studio. If a specific city or legal jurisdiction matters to your procurement process, ask — we will answer factually, not with a fabricated headquarters story.
TypeScript, React, Next.js, Astro, Node.js, Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, and a cloud set that usually includes Cloudflare, AWS, or Vercel. The maintenance team and the workload choose the stack, not a trend list.
Yes. That is the default. Splitting UI and API across two vendors is how you get two slightly different products.
Yes. We begin by running it, reading how it fails, and identifying the parts everyone is afraid to touch. Then we change it in slices with previews.
Yes, on the rules that would hurt if they broke: authz, money, idempotency, the state machine. We do not chase coverage cosmetics.
Yes, under the contract. Repositories, accounts, and keys should live in your org. We do not hold your product hostage in our personal cloud.
We are strongest on the web, including responsive and PWA-like surfaces. Native iOS/Android is not a lead offering. If the product is a web app that must feel excellent on a phone, that is squarely in scope.
Lead qualification, support drafts, document extraction, CRM updates, research over an internal corpus, onboarding sequences, and custom agents with constrained tools. The common pattern is trigger → context → model → tools → policy → action → review.
Yes. We put models behind an adapter so the rest of the application does not care which vendor you are on this quarter.
Yes, with an allowlist of tools, traces, and a human path for high-impact actions. An agent without constraints is a demo.
That is most of the project: auth, mapping, idempotent writes, and webhooks. The prompt is the small part.
Only if retrieval over unstructured corpus is actually required. Many automations are structured queries plus a short prompt. We will say no to a vector store used as décor.
Grounding in fetched context, schema-constrained outputs, citations or source spans, evaluation sets, and abstain/escalate paths. Nothing is perfect; instrumentation is how you stay honest.
If the job is answering from docs with a trail, we can. If the job is looking modern, we will recommend a better use of the budget.
Yes. Strategy, IA, flows, UI, and systems. We prefer to stay through engineering so the file and the repo do not diverge.
Yes — tokens, components, and the rules for not inventing a second button. A system that only exists in Figma is a mood board.
Yes. We implement, question, and fill the missing states. If the file cannot survive a long name or an error, we will flag it before it becomes a sprint.
We can extend a brand into product: type, color, voice, motion. Full brand-from-zero (naming, strategy decks, packaging) is not our center of gravity. We partner or keep it tightly product-scoped.
Semantic structure, keyboard paths, contrast, focus, reduced motion, and labels. We do not claim a specific WCAG audit badge unless one is commissioned. We do the engineering work that makes an audit cheaper.
Yes. A project that ends at a zip file is unfinished. DNS, TLS, environments, and a pipeline are part of shipping.
On a retainer, yes. Otherwise we handover: access, diagrams, backups, and who to call. We do not disappear on the Friday of go-live.
Yes. Mixed topologies are common: Cloudflare at the edge, origin on a platform or AWS, objects on R2 or S3.
Only if the workload and the team justify it. Many products should not rent a control plane to serve a brochure and an API.
Secrets in a manager, not in chat. Backups with a restore you have actually run. We write that down.
A conversation, then a written proposal: scope, slice, assumptions, and how we work. If we need a paid discovery, we will say so instead of guessing a build price on a vacuum.
A focused site or automation can be weeks. A product with auth, billing, and integrations is months. Anyone quoting a complex system in a long weekend is selling a demo. We will give a range after discovery.
Watch the logs, fix what production taught us, then either a retainer or a handover. Launch is a chapter, not a cliff.
A single thread of record, a regular working session, and preview URLs. We do not hide work in a private drive you cannot open.
Yes. Some of the best projects are embedded: we take a slice, your team takes a slice, the architecture stays shared.
Access to the people who know the process, the systems of record, and the authority to decide. A brand file helps. A pile of contradictory PDFs is also a start.
By engagement shape: project, dedicated build, design, automation program, or retainer. We do not publish rate cards that pretend every product costs the same. Talk to us with the problem attached.
Yes, when they are reasonable. We cannot operate if we are forbidden from naming technologies in our own heads.
Yes. Send the paperwork early. Surprises in week six help no one.

Tell us what you are trying to ship. We will come back with questions, a shape, and whether we are the right studio for it.
